I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.

I am a writer, reader, runner, yogi, wife of one, and mother of two living in Malibu for the last seventeen years.

I have two littles who are not so little anymore, at 12 and 8.5 years old, who thrust me out of my formerly organized and efficient lifestyle into the chaotic world of motherhood, parenting, and inevitably, a state of rebirth and reinvention.

I am a Southern California native, born in Hollywood and raised in Los Angeles. I grew up in a unique environment of art, nature, music, celebrity, perceived perfection and concealed dysfunction.

After attending the University of California, Irvine and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies, I returned to Los Angeles to work in the Hollywood film and television industry.

I did that for years. Then I stopped doing that.

What came next? This. What is on this site. I began to share what I write, what I think, what I feel, and how I connect with the truth within me.

After a while, I discovered I was also connecting with the truth within others; and they were grateful, responding positively. They relate to what I express; and I write what they feel but aren't able to find the words to communicate.

That is the best part of this journey. Sharing my voice, owning my truth, practicing my craft, and lending my voice to others so I can open their hearts to the truths within them and the world in which they live.

The essays are the most well received pieces I have written, and the shorts are brief anecdotal pieces I originally posted to social media, duplicated here.
