I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.
— Flannery O'Connor

I am a writer, reader, runner, yogi, wife of one and mother of two living in Malibu for the last fifteen years.

I have two littles that are not so little anymore, at 10 and 6 years old, who thrust me out of my formerly organized and efficient lifestyle into the chaotic world of motherhood, parenting, and inevitably, a state of rebirth and reinvention.

I am a Southern California native, born in Hollywood and raised in Los Angeles. I grew up in a unique environment of art, nature, music, celebrity, perceived perfection and concealed dysfunction.

After attending the University of California, Irvine and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies, I returned to Los Angeles to work in the Hollywood film and television industry.

I started this site to write what I think, share what I feel, and connect with the truth within me and others. My goal is to communicate that truth and authenticity, and to do so with hope, love, a lot of perspective, and a little bit of humor, since I am not that funny.

You can read my writing from the most recent back by clicking here and scrolling past the ones too long or uninteresting to you.

You can also look at the sidebar to the right and check out the pieces I have featured there, or find the social media short posts that I initially put on social media, but liked them enough to duplicate them here.

Or you can simply go to the archives page for a complete list of all written pieces and articles posted on this site.

My social media accounts always have other original content posted too, so find those via the links below:
