I write because I don’t know what I think until I read what I say.
— Flannery O'Connor

I am a writer, reader, runner, yogi, wife of one, and mother of two living in Malibu for the last sixteen years.

I have two littles who are not so little anymore, at 11.5 & 7.5 years old, who thrust me out of my formerly organized and efficient lifestyle into the chaotic world of motherhood, parenting, and inevitably, a state of rebirth and reinvention.

I am a Southern California native, born in Hollywood and raised in Los Angeles. I grew up in a unique environment of art, nature, music, celebrity, perceived perfection and concealed dysfunction.

After attending the University of California, Irvine and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies, I returned to Los Angeles to work in the Hollywood film and television industry.

I created this site to write what I think, share what I feel, and connect with the truth within me and others. My goal is to communicate truth and authenticity, and do so with hope, love, a little humor, and a lot of perspective.
